While there's a good deal of heat, this is more of a lighthearted romance, as is fitting for a shorter read. The management experience has thus often been seen through the eyes of rank-and-file workers rather than from the perspective of managers themselves. The author of 'The Age of Athelstan' (Tempus 2004), Paul Hill was formerly curator at Kingston upon Thames Museum. They talked and behaved in the same way. The story was way too reminiscent of the Peter Benchly book, later a movie, entitled The Deep. Petzold writes with supreme confidence and wry wit, never cloying, always with just the right touch. I am understanding this teaching and all my other teachings in a deeper way.
